Known bugs & issues - WEEK #52

Dear players,

here is the list of the most frequent bugs and issues, which have appeared lately or still persist:

1.) GAME FREEZING, HOURGLASS SPINNING AND GAME CRASHING ON MOBILE APP VERSION 1.5.454

A lot of players have reported the issues with the newest version of the app - 1.5.454 - mostly app freezing while collecting the last tile in a location, endless hourglass spinning or game crashes.
Our tech team is already working on fixing these issues, we would like to ask you to be patient.

It is not necessary to submit a ticket to our support regarding this issue anymore.

2.) INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION - UNABLE TO REACH THE LAST TILES?

Some players might have left the tiles in the very last room in this location - and then you realize you cannot get back to them! Our tech team has implemented a fix on that, and if you are still experiencing this, just do the following: enter the tunnel in the screenshot, and then get back - you can then reach the last room 🙂

3.) UNABLE TO UPDATE THE APP ON iOS, THIS VERSION IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THIS DEVICE

If you have issues downloading the latest update and the following messages appear while trying to do so:

we are sorry to inform you that your device, unfortunately, does not meet minimum hardware criteria.

What does it mean?

Our app is using a technology, which does not support devices using less than 64-bit chip. There are a few devices, which have iOS version higher than the minimum required (iOS 10), but at the same time, they have only 32-bit chip. Due to this, although the iOS version is sufficient, the hardware does not meet the minimum criteria.

Unfortunately, we are not able to influence this fact, as the technology requires certain hardware criteria, which are not met in this case.

For this reason, we are sorry to inform you that in order to be able to continue playing Diggy's Adventure, it will be necessary to use a different mobile device or a PC.

Here is the list of the devices, which are, given this fact, no longer supported:

iPad 4th Generation (Wi-Fi/Verizon & Sprint/GPS) - architecture: Apple A6X 32bit
iPhone 5 GSM/LTE - architecture: Apple A6 32bit
iPhone 5 CDMA/LTE - architecture: Apple A6 32bit
iPhone 5c - architecture: Apple A6 32bit

Unfortunately, if you used to play the game Diggy's Adventure on any of the above mentioned devices, it will not be possible for you to use the same device for gaming purposes anymore.
If you wish to continue playing the game on a different device with your original game progress, please, contact our support and let us know the information mentioned in this article.

The constant "No Internet" (I'm on android). This issue has been around for long time but seems to happen more frequently now. Why can the game not just retry a few times or even have a "try again" button instead of forcing a restart? I know my Internet is fine, and I have zero issues with any other app.

Still wish the red numbers on the tiles (when you don't have enough energy) was a lighter so you could actually read it.

Why does the game have to pop up the same pop-ups every time you start it? If I wanted to play Christmas 2019, I would have chosen to the first time. I don't need to be reminded every single time I start the game, especially when it is always crashing!

Screen still jumps (i.e. a super fast scroll) when you tap a tile. This is random and does not happen often, but when it does it is frustrating because you can loose track of Diggy if it's a big mine. This seems to happen when the game gets laggy (i.e. short pauses of the animation).

Anyone having issues with blank screen (Booting out) after collecting chests? Started with this mornings advent, cannot collect todays chest at all and now with the gems renewable in the main event.

oh boy, do I have a new issue (or... not? it worked out but it's weird enough to still post this). ads were working fine half an hour ago. then I got "no internet" at home with full wifi and the internet was fine when it reloaded. bullet dodged there - both of the obsidian tiles I'd just dug stayed dug 🙂 but ~ 10 minutes later, I went to collect my obsidian achievement, and the ad for that... did not load. I saw the spinning hourglass and thought, okay, I just have to wait 20 spins. it kept spinning. maybe they'd changed it back to 75 spins? nope. the whole time I've been typing this, it's been spinning. I'm ... holy shit, I was about to kill the game, it's been ~ 5 minutes of spinning and suddenly the ending page of an ad showed up. I'm gonna leave that up for another minute before closing it... aaand I got my reward! 🙂 lol. that was incredibly messed up. but now I know that if I leave it untouched for 5 whole minutes there's a chance of it un-breaking itself, lol.
