Buying equipment

Hellow everyone,
I started the game a month ago, and for now I just getting a head in the game with no planning or stragedy just to have a taste of it and feel it.I do plann later on to have a fresh start and be better planned the game. for now my goal is to learn how to buy my camp equipment wisely.
How do you rank the equipment in each section: capacity and energy?
In energy for instance should I buy one of this or maybe buying 2 of the other is better deal? or save to a better one?
for eample : in cooking we have a chart show the ratio

While Pixel is still offering certain vintage stories for only 100 gems....they can be a great source to gain more powerful camp equipment.

When you are looking at camp equipment look at the "per slot" amount & also check what game level you need to be to access pieces of camp equipment.

I do have a question though
In egupt region you have recommanded to stock the berries and cook berry cake instead
oviusly this method have benefits, but what about getting the achivment faster? I found out that with cooking muffins I get to that point faster than the others
Oviosly I am not talking about the milk, that will get me broke.
I wonder what is your opinion?

my experience after painful error and bad start:

for a fresh start, I recommend u to buy many low cost equipement in event item possible. the different is not big enough. so u can avoid buy normal camp item in the shop when u want to free camp space. my good ratio is 2 regen for 1 capacity.

Meair personally I like to take my time with achievements. they only have 6-8 levels each and then they're done, so no rush 🙂 the only egypt ones I didn't finish years ago are copper, tin, iron ore and herbs (the herbs one is ludicrous, it'll still be years before I finish it)

The reason is berry cake is the only best food which you can cook overnight, and each takes 50 berries. That's a lot of berries and you don't usually get that many from playing the game.
If you spend what you get on muffins, then you can't cook the cake at all and will end up cooking a grilled fish for 300 energy instead overnight. So I recommend berries for berry cake to cook while you sleep.

For the achievement, you have several different things, especially those made with apples. Yes takes triple the time, but getting more energy is better than rushing through the achievement.

I try to rush from couple of reasons

there was Postcard week and I have tried to make the best out of it, so I have foused on the repeatable mines.
1. the achivements gives awards, my focuse is on lumber and green rings.
  In Egupt I have prob collecting herbs as u are.
  
  I do know that it is the first time I play this game so I don't have long term plan\strtegy. I just taste it, and this is why I focuse my time asking Q here.
  My goal is to play the game again having a fresh start but I have more knowlege and experience building my game plan as well as my camp.

As rookie in the game by reading your guides and with the learning of how to think & plan for the long run, can't wait to start the game fresh

you came across the right time for me to try your way in your guidlines
I have sufficent berries for full cycle in the kitchen, meaning 5 cakes. I want your opinion, should I wait and save it for dubble production day? u did mention in your guide this
On the other hand, It was not a long time ago, so to wait almost 6 months?
I am trying to understand the way of how to think in the game instead of playing by the day

Meair Right now I will suggest go ahead and cash in those berries for energy. The double production week is a long way to go now and you will need only enough berries to make cakes for 7 days.

There will be more chances to save, also a double materials week in between, when you can use green rings in chamber of fortune to get quite some berries for the cakes.

Moreover you might even reach Scandinavia by then when the berries will become useless and everything changes.

So for now, go ahead and spend those, enjoy few hundred energy to play the game! 🙂
