So what time on Tuesday 6th October is the Christmas 2015 story no longer going to be available for 100 gems any more?

I'm in Victoria Australia in daylight savings time now.

I wonder why Pixel doesn't post this information on all of their platforms?

In my personal opinion this forum in particular for example which is contained in their own specific website should get any updates first & foremost.

I know that Pixel has Twitter, Instagram & Facebook.

But what confuses me is that what I would consider to be the "main Facebook" page for Diggys Adventure doesn't seem to get these kind of information updates.

I personally do not have a Twitter, Instagram or Facebook account which means that I can only see what is open to the public on these social media sites.

I'm planning to open 4th Birthday & Pirates for postcard week, cuz the warehouse of wisdom and ship of wisdom repeatables will give a lot of xp during postcards. (For all we know, since we now know the way pixel works, this upcoming postcards may be the last postcards event ever.)

Happy-Haze it says "start it before tomorrow's update" so I assume that it changes when the update is pushed, whatever time that normally is for you. (I'm always asleep when it updates so I dunno exactly when, but I think it's less than 12 hours from now)

I've been telling them that for years.

As for the time, in NSW the update should be by 12am with daylight saving time.
So in VIC it would be the same if you have that as well, if not by 11pm.
But i wouldn't wait for the last hour or minute as the updates are sometimes hours earlier than expected.
If you look at the time left for the weekly special offer you can work out when that would end.
That time is the same timing for updates.
Mine works out to end Friday 12 am, so updates for today will be Wednesday 12am.

Doing the Christmas 2015 would now only take me 4-5 days to clear it all.

Such a shame they are taking Christmas 2015 off the 100 gem special offer as it is such a popular story to do over & over again 😭

In my personal opinion there is so many less popular stories they could take off the 100 gem offer instead of Christmas 2015.

For example....Halloween 2012, Christmas 2012, Valentines Day 2013, Easter 2013, Arabian Nights, Detective Stories 1, Halloween 2013, Thanksgiving 2013, Little Red Riding Hood & Winter Games 2014.

But I guess as the saying goes....you can't always get what you want....lol

Happy-Haze Probably the only reason to take Christmas 2015 off is it gives more gems than it costs! Even in repeated attempts it gives over 250. People might be repurchasing this over and again to make a gem profit, not something they'd want.

Yes I can understand what you are saying.

But to get all gems takes a lot of energy (yes I know not as much energy as some stories like Christmas 2016).

I've done Christmas 2015 a few times now & I've never been able to fully clear all game scenes nor collect all gems available.

Just would of been nice to get a bit more advanced notice that Christmas 2015 wasn't going to be available for 100 gems though.

Happy-Haze Considering only the main quests, it gives 198 gems (263k energy) plus 30 for story completion plus repeatable gems, which is good enough even for people in Egypt. On top of the gem profit, there's amazing equipments for people in Egypt/Scandinavia.
In new world, I can easily do every single tile in less than 10 days. Resources won't be much useful but gem profits certainly would be.

Yeah that's true. Can't make infinite profit. Plus it does take significant play time.

As a player, I would certainly want the discount to continue. I am just presenting their point of view.

Anyway, I am going to buy this one last time on some or all of my accounts!

I just started it again, I wonder how long it'll take me... 🙂 the non-challenge parts are so cheap I'm gaining energy as I dig. I'll have to go dump some energy into a challenge mine soon. or apollo's frigging shield thingy - those 10k energy stones are evil 😛

edit: also, I hadn't noticed it much on the other 100-gem event I have open, but the dig queue really is making xmas 2015 feel smoother. 🙂

Chani so I just cleared the last story mine, plus a bit of the challenges. it took slightly less than a day without food, and I spent all my overnight energy on apollo instead 🙂 my head feels a bit tingly from staying focused so long, though 😛
I wonder if I can get through all the challenges by tomorrow morning...
