Truus the Apple ID is connected to the specific device model and thus it is not possible to log in with the Apple ID on a different device.
wait, does that mean that a user whose ipad breaks and has to be replaced could lose their game? or at least have to contact support to retrieve it? or does it just mean that they can only log into it from their own iphone/ipad?
I've only had an apple account for a job, and I only had the one device, so I have no idea how they handle users with multiple devices. seems weird that they can't just tie it to the email address that comes with an apple account, but, apple hasn't exactly been playing nice with other companies lately.
