Purchase more mosquito amber?

Can I purchase more mosquito amber using real dollars? If so, how? I'm 5 amber short of being able to buy something for my camp.

Sometimes Pixel offers additional event special items in their event based packages that you can buy for real money.

Their current "Dino Deal" package doesn't contain any mosquitoes.

Sometimes Pixel gives away additional event special items which can be found through Facebook, Twitter & Pixel website.

I personally would like at least an extra 60 mosquitoes....lol

I have previously suggested to Pixel that they should make the packages able to be customised by each player.

So players could pick & choose what they wanted to purchase in the package & the package price would adjust according to what items are chosen & the amounts of each item.

You could always contact Pixel support & ask them if you can purchase more mosquitoes....the worst case scenario is that they say no.

It would be interesting to see if Pixel would do it 😊

In over 2 years of play, I've never seen a replay event that had the special event item in an event package. They always have the special event item in a pack for a new event, but not for replays.
There was one replay event that had a regen and a capacity item that formed the bow and stern of a ship. People complained that there weren't enough items in the event to allow buying both halves to get a complete ship and Pixel added a small map with enough extra items to allow it. That was an exceptional case.

What I did was buy the decoration 70 times 😂😂😂 I'm very close to getting 6/6 achievement for the decorations, that's why.

It's a real shame that we only get 200 mosquitoes from the story.

I really feel that due to the number of mosquitoes needed to buy the best camp equipment options that this story needed a repeatable mine that would provide more mosquitoes.

Especially when you need 130 mosquitoes for the best regeneration camp equipment (149 per slot) Velociraptor Fossil....which there is a 3 piece limit on (390 mosquitoes to get all 3 pieces).

Then you need another 130 mosquitoes for the best capacity camp equipment (750 per slot) Palm Tree Fossil.....which also has a 3 piece limit (another 390 mosquitoes to get all 3 pieces).

So if you buy 1 piece of either the best camp equipment you are only left with 70 mosquitoes.

The 2nd best regeneration camp equipment requires 75 mosquitoes (94 per slot) Snail Fossils....which there is 4 piece limit on (300 mosquitoes for all 4 pieces)....but it's a massive drop from 149 down to 94 per slot.

The 2nd best capacity camp equipment requires 80 mosquitoes (550 per slot) Flower Fossils.... which there is a 4 piece limit on (320 mosquitoes for all 4 pieces).....but again it's a big drop from 750 down to 550 per slot.

I understand the theory that 2 pieces of the 2nd best regeneration camp equipment will give you a better hourly return that 1 piece of the best regeneration camp equipment.

However the massive per slot value difference means that the 2 pieces of the 2nd best regeneration camp equipment will become obsolete in your camp a lot sooner than 1 piece of the best regeneration camp equipment.

The same scenario goes for the best versus 2nd best in respect of the capacity camp equipment.

So I am currently torn on what to do with my left over 70 mosquitoes....as there is no point in me buying the lowest value camp equipment.

I play via Android mobile phone app so I can't acquire decorations.

I'm thinking I might just leave the mosquitoes in my inventory in the hope that either Dinosaur Park will be available to be replayed either by way of being offered free by Pixel (as it just was)....or even better yet that Pixel adds it to the vintage stories tab for players to purchase.

Personally I wish that Pixel would add all vintage stories from 2018 to 2012 for players to purchase.

There has to be a mistake in this event. How can they offer so much equipment but can not buy it.
Please fix this.

See nothing unusual about it really. Always lots of stuff we can't buy if getting the highest valued equipment...so one must decide whether to get more of the lower valued pieces (which will be quickly replaced) or the highest (which will last longer.)

I always go for the highest & then either buy some low stuff (if it's worth it,) food energy or recipes (if applicable - great for 3x production weeks.) Of course if I know the Event will be re-releaeed (like year-old Holiday Events,) then I might keep some of the collected items to use at that point, especially if I expect to be in a higher region the 2nd time around...though it seems I may never make it outta China🥺
