I just finished 1st birthday and everything in the rewards from the quests gets doubled including the gems so sorry to correct you.

Decided to do this Event for my Egypt Diggy & you are correct. Even WIKI says the gems are 2x though I don't know if this special pricing has anything to do with it.
In all fairness to @gamemaster this is the only Event I've ever seen that has given 2x the gems for watching ads after completing the Quesrs. ( I had to log in to the Portal to get any Quest ads to do so as the mobile ads aren't working for me.) I guess we shouldn't say never when it comes to this game...

BlameTheParrot That is surprising. For a while after double adds came out, the Christmas events with vouchers gave double vouchers when you played the ad, but now they only double coins & experience.

The spreadsheet on the Wiki has been updated so that it now looks correct. Also they have added a column for gems from quests and a column for gem cost playing it the second time (i.e. without the gems earned from achievements).

StatsNerd we have either 2 or 4 days left in that two weeks now... anyone remember the exact day it started? and is there any word on whether it'll be extended?
I've finally got both pieces of hyperion equipment (I think I did 4/5 of atlantis in the last 13 days, omg), so I'm gonna take a break from atlantis, start on xmas 2014, and finish the dad quests later 🙂

Chani They announced it on Facebook on March 19 and the comment where they said it would be for at least 2 weeks was made on the same day so that should be at least until March 23. They also said that it would be there as long as it takes - so it seems likely to be extended.

Congrats on getting the equipment - the Atlantis special items were quite a slog. The Zeus mural seemed a more reasonable challenge - still quite hard but not as outrageously hard as the Atlantis special items.

For those needing Amethysts and Rubies, Easter 2015 and Independence day are the best for those.
Easter 2015 has 23 Amethysts and 23 Rubies for around 750,000 energy to clear the mines which is less than it would take to get that many from the Ruby Rubble and Hard Rock Canyon. Independence Day has 24 Amethysts and 14 Rubies for 1,125,000 energy to clear.

thanks! I'll be wanting 300 rubies when I start greece soon, and I only have 90. it's a shame it's all for a single item... by the time I get enough, I might decide to save them for xmas instead.

Chani Easter 2019 has some good Regen equipment for gems. Perhaps 2020 will also. I'm also trying to get the jewels for the Harpies and Phoenix. Yes, they require an awful lot. By the time I get enough for them, they may be too low to be worth it. They are already too low for my daytime camp.

There are some pickaxes (regen equipment) for Greece that aren't on the wiki equipment page. There is an Atlantean Ruby pickaxe - 207 regen, I don't remember how many rubies - maybe 75.

Corrections needed at the Wiki:

Detective Stories II is not even shown; it has a net cost of 43, as you get 7 gems in-game and 50 from completing the achievement.
Wild West 2014 is incorrectly shown: you get 50+30+15 for the three achievements plus 9 gems in-game is a net of 4 plus your 100 gem cost returned to you. They are showing it as a net loss of gems.

I am currently doing 6: Brazil Cup, Wild West, Christmas 2015, Independence Day, Easter 2015, and Christmas 2014. Lots of repeatables!! 3 of them are all done with only repeatables to do for the gems and goodies, and the other 3 are nearly done, so ....

I have plans to start two more! Diggy's 3rd birthday and Detective Stories II, which even though will cost me, sounds like fun.

Not only will I end up with net more gems than I started with, I have restocked my lumber, coal, and tin, as well as lots of 4 and 8 hour speed potions, and cheap food that is good in a pinch. Plus I got to do a ton of clicking.

Generally tho, the newer events have much better puzzles and challenges, but it is lots of fun to do these older stories. At 500 gems they were not worth the effort, but at 100, totally!

There IS a net gem loss for many events when doing them again.

I started playing January 1 this year with my current game and these are the ones I'm talking about: Paleo Mayhem, Movie Madness, Ice Prince, Junglanji, Players Event, Ice Princess, Star Beasts, Viva Las Vegas, Baseball Blast, Easter 2018, Ice King, Diggy's 6th Birthday, Parry Hotter, Wild West 2, Ice Queen, Dinosaur Park, Detective Stories 3, Return To Tomorrow, Alien Mayhem, Vace Entura, Snow White, James Blond, Meteor Mayhem, Summer Games, MacGainer, Galactic Wars, Beachwatch, Scout Camp.

I actually discovered Diggy's Adventure last summer and got to play the following events: Superheroes 3, Superheroes 2, Players Event 2019, Pirates 2, Superheroes, Alice in Wonderland, Halloween 2018, Christmas 2018, Night Museum, Pirates, Robin Hood.

Hi I was wondering if you might know the answer to a question I have in relation to the double gem reward feature of diggys 1st birthday please?

I was planning on acquiring diggys 1st birthday today.

I was wondering if the double gem reward feature on watching ads works when you play via the mobile phone game app?

Or do you have to play via the website portal to enable that double gem reward feature?

Happy-Haze ads should work the same on all devices (aside from the bugs making them crash or fail)

Actually, if playing on a Kindle, the Amazon version of the app doesn't offer any ads at all.

Two Possible Workarounds:

Download the Google .apk files to your Kindle. This will allow you access to the Google Play Store. Then install Diggy for the ads.
If first option doesn't work, before finishing a mine location and / or quest, close the Amazon Diggy app & log into the browser game using the same credentials as the app. As long as the Silk browser supports WebGL, then putting the game tab in Desktop Mode will let you finish the quest or mine & watch the ads.

Both methods will also give Kindle users access to the Lucky Cards tent as well.

Happy-Haze Me and my sis only play on a pc we share so I kinda have to get any answers on how it plays on other devices from other sources and trust that information. I think the moderators here play on all the different devices from the answers I've read of theirs and seem to know pretty much how the game is on them.
