I used to do the eel mine throughout the year (no, not everyday, I'd forget doing it on 6 out of 7 days 😛 ) and use all the worms during this week. My entire greece finished but I still have lot of eels left.
I don't do all the mines during the week. My priority was the relevant food mines. Like I'd do the chilli, piranha and corn mines without fail. And also the octopus, lemon, olive ones because they still remain relevant whenever I run out of resources for cooking new world food. I find cooking greece food more worth than obtaining new world materials from the repeatables when I run out of supplies.
All basic mines like mushroom pit, the lumber, stone and coal mines too.
Remaining energy I dump into the amethyst, ruby, topaz, sapphire, diamond mines. And similar to gamemaster, I would leave a tile in those big mines for the postcard week. I do the ametyst mine several times but others only once since they take up significant energy and I would rather spend it in storyline.
I would speed up refreshing of the new world's green ring temple using gems 2-3 times and make the best use of the green rings there.
