2 missing journal pages

I have finished the mountain of echoes. But it says I still need to find the 2 missing journal pages. I have places the masked balls over the skeletons and finished all the tiles. Yet am still stuck. Can anyone tell me where to go now?

In Scandinavia, there are extra journal pages so as long as your god quests continue you will usually pick up what you need further in the region. If your god quests have stopped let us know what the last god location was that you completed (not Father, not side quest).

I like this write up from the Wiki which show relevant Journal locations by their decoding group. Easier to see extras this way. I've paraphrased a bit.

If you do actually find that you are short a Journal page or so, the most likely Journal pages to get missed are probably in mines where the Journal location is not marked by Dad boxes. Instead you put stones under Rune stones to get the Journal pages. Those are:

red_herring my God wursts have come to a stop and when I look back at my map it shows a pic of little journal pages beside the mountain of echoes logo. I’ve never seen that before so I’m certain that’s what’s holding me up.
Take a look at my screen shot. Any help would be wonderful! 😊

Thx for the screen shot. The little journal symbols were added about 6 weeks ago. Pixel confirmed that those symbols just tell you that this mine started out with x number of journals. Not how many you got and not how many are still in it. Also, the god mines don't stop because of lack of journals. It's the Father mines that might stop.

Regarding quests, here are some things to check for:

Check your Quests panel to see if the quest "The Giant Surprise" is still open. If it is there, see what it wants. The quest starts from inside Garoton Village. The giant king Thrym sends you to the location, Dwarven Gold Mine. When you have collected all 25 gold nuggets, the game is supposed to tell you to return to Garoton Village to talk to King Thrym again. Try talking to him in the throne room at top of main Garoton Village screen.
King Thrym then tells you to talk to Skadi in Valhalla. Swipe back to the Thor quest line and look for the location with the metal ring around it. Try talking to Skadi.
Skadi is supposed to send you to Skadi's Huntress in Fjordheim. Try talking to her as well.
