I have played the same position card for months and have never received the top prize. It appears everywhere else - just not that corner!!!!!

The players complaining about this are correct. It is rigged to fail, but of course someone... YOU... has to argue the point. If they are going to make a little "random" device like this, the least they can do is make it RANDOM. It IS frustrating...YOU just want to argue... You even went down the list and Liked anyone else that argued ! GO AWAY

This is a public Player Forum. I was simply offering a different opinion & have a right to do so & "like" any post I choose. We Moderators spend a lot of our free time helping other players & I don't plan to GO AWAY simply because you happen to disagree with my stance on this topic.

I view the (un)Lucky Cards as merely an added bonus for a GAME I happen to love. It's a bummer that I've rarely gotten anything close to the "grand prize." However, I try to remind myself that there are so many things that are frustrating & troubling in my real life & move on.

I was annoyed for a while then as the above post, just accepted it for what it is and use the free energy as an added bonus and move on.
Especially after Roeland's post with the picture and statement of how it operates.
People like you should GO AWAY and not post if you are going to conduct your posts in that manner.
This is your first post and attack someone that ISN'T the only one that has the same stance of opinion.
They were not arguing the point but pointing out facts.
They did not go down the list and like anyone that argued - you got your sentence wrong, DIDN'T argue.
This topic has been going for 5 MONTHS and people were liked along the time frame, not going down the list and then liking people because of their argument.
Like me, i like those who present a discussion, opinion that resonates with mine.

I feel that the lucky cards should be like the out of energy, it just gives you your value and not pick anything.

The way I see it,it is more than we had before. If it bothered me that much I just wouldn’t use it. It is free after all.

I agree with all the positive posts cause there are lots of things in the game that give out free stuff like the lucky cards and daily rewards and such and even if sometimes it isn't a lot of it or as much as you might want the point is that it is free and so it's more than what you had before. So maybe say your opinion of why you would like it to be more or be something else that is free and explain why that's your opinion but also give some thanks that you got some free stuff and show some satisfaction with that.

I've had the same experience and it's aggravating. If they don't want to give you the highest value, don't include it. Make it in line with the other ones and make it accruals instead of 4x more and unachievable. Then you don't piss off the people that understand the basics of probability.

Roeland So the odds ARE rigged. There is nothing random, the tables provided prove it. No wonder I never spent a single penny and never have watched a single commercial provided by the game.

the table shows the odds; odds are a form of randomness. just not the equal share the cards imply.
(btw, I finally got a jackpot a month or two ago! 🙂 I didn't even realise at first, I thought I'd gotten 10k instead of 100k until I remembered my camp was in night mode)

Alex_Clover Every time a player plays the Lucky Cards that game is reset. The outcome has nothing to do with previous outcomes. So the 1 in 9 chance of the card you chose being the high card is always going to be 1 in 9. All your post shows is you lack an understanding of true randomness.

Yes and no. It's just like the coin flipping. You always have a 50/50 chance of heads or tails. However, statistically over time, it will be close to the same number of heads as tails. Now, I have been selecting the same spot for probably 6 months or more (and random spots before that). I have only gotten the top award twice. Statistically, I should have gotten it more often (with true 1 in 9 odds). So no, I do not believe it is just a 1 in 9 random placement generator, but more of a random chance you will get it (i.e. 1 in 1000). Sort of like the tin mine with the gem. I cleared that one many hundreds of times and only got a gem once.

We know that the odds aren't 1 in 9 . Roeland posted the actual odds in an earlier reply above. The probability of getting the highest energy is 1%.

No matter where you pick the card it will be what has been determined for that try.
I have done the same as you, chose the same spot since it started and have got the maximum amount 3 times.

Yes. That is the same way electronic slot machines work. My only point was that by picking the same spot proves it is pre-determined, and that the odds are nowhere near 1 in 9. I missed the earlier post where someone said the code shows it to be 1 in 100. However, even with 1 in 100, that still does not mean you will always get it once out of every hundred tries. As you increase the odds, the statistical probability also increases (i.e. it takes a much larger sample size for it to statistically balance). That said, Joe Lucky could get the top amount 5 times in a month.

I have been playing for over a year now....I've tried both a random pick & pattern method & I have never got the maximum amount available.

Maybe I will try the same spot method for awhile & see if that works any better....lol 🤣😂

I guess there is no point complaining as it is an extra freebie that costs us only the data & time to watch the ad.

My partner got it 2 days in a row.
I have yet to get another for a long time.
Now that we can do it 2 or 3 times a day it's still just as bad.
Oh well, some free energy is good to get.

So for the past 23 days I have tried the same spot method....I chose the middle of the square to be my repeatedly hit area.

I'm in Scandinavia...the highest card I have got in 23 days was 2000 once....lol

I know it's an additional bonus that all we have to do is watch a video to get...so we all should be grateful & not complain.

BUT......would it really disadvantage Pixel to give each player the jackpot amount once a month?....that's only 12 times a year?

Also if Pixel is feeling ultra generous maybe a few extra times a year like Christmas, New Year, Easter, Diggys Birthday, Valentines Day, Halloween, etc?

Actually I have a question.... what do you call that "out of energy box" that pops up automatically when you are inside a mine & you don't have enough energy to break a tile?......it gives you one free lot of energy per day or the option to eat food stored in your pantry/inventory?

Also what are the free energy amounts you can get from that "out of energy box"?....are they also region based?.

I've never seen any details in relation to that information anywhere.
