Yes. That is the same way electronic slot machines work. My only point was that by picking the same spot proves it is pre-determined, and that the odds are nowhere near 1 in 9. I missed the earlier post where someone said the code shows it to be 1 in 100. However, even with 1 in 100, that still does not mean you will always get it once out of every hundred tries. As you increase the odds, the statistical probability also increases (i.e. it takes a much larger sample size for it to statistically balance). That said, Joe Lucky could get the top amount 5 times in a month.

My partner got it 2 days in a row.
I have yet to get another for a long time.
Now that we can do it 2 or 3 times a day it's still just as bad.
Oh well, some free energy is good to get.

So for the past 23 days I have tried the same spot method....I chose the middle of the square to be my repeatedly hit area.

I'm in Scandinavia...the highest card I have got in 23 days was 2000 once....lol

I know it's an additional bonus that all we have to do is watch a video to get...so we all should be grateful & not complain.

BUT......would it really disadvantage Pixel to give each player the jackpot amount once a month?....that's only 12 times a year?

Also if Pixel is feeling ultra generous maybe a few extra times a year like Christmas, New Year, Easter, Diggys Birthday, Valentines Day, Halloween, etc?

Actually I have a question.... what do you call that "out of energy box" that pops up automatically when you are inside a mine & you don't have enough energy to break a tile?......it gives you one free lot of energy per day or the option to eat food stored in your pantry/inventory?

Also what are the free energy amounts you can get from that "out of energy box"?....are they also region based?.

I've never seen any details in relation to that information anywhere.

In that case I've been blessed to have the maximum amount of 7000 once from the "daily extra energy ad" since being in Scandinavia for ages.....lol.

So in addition to what I said above in relation to Pixel giving players the jackpot amount via the "lucky cards" once a month & on special occasions.....perhaps they could give us the jackpot amount via either the "lucky cards" &/or the "daily extra energy ad".

If Pixel is feeling ultra generous they could give the jackpot amount on both the "lucky cards" & the "daily extra energy ad" at the same time.....but I won't be holding my breath or betting on it happening....just wishful thinking 😂🤣

As a programmer, I came to the conclusion it doesn't matter which card you choose. From what I have observed, I believe the code simply rolls a value based on their weighted results. That is, there is a 1 in whatever chance of receiving a particular card. It chooses which card you get, then fills in the grid in a random manner with the remaining values.

Besides the big prize of 70,000, I'm happy with 16,000 or 19,000.

Happy-Haze I hear you. I feel that way now about Terra.

But when I was in Scandinavia or early China (whenever topaz first came along), getting the 22,000 tile took all my might. I got the overnight regen lined up to get that tile. Now, I generate that amount in about 30 minutes. So one's camp improves and the ridiculous tile costs get easier to deal with.

I now have 3 million base food (1 million rice and 2 million sea soups), and all the rest of my stored energy gives me about 9 million in food, and counting. I'm saving up to have 30-40 million to make up for not that great equipment.

What I want to know is if anybody gets fooled into spending gems for food in the Special offers? The gem costs are ludicrous given how fast one can make food AND how long it takes to earn the gems. I wish they would spend less time designing over-priced food and more time fixing the code issues that cause game freezes.

Lol....I'm a doomsday prepper in both life & in Diggys Adventure 😂🤣

At home I have 2 chest freezes & 2 fridge/freezers full of meat....as well as 3 pantry cupboards full of food.

In my Diggys inventory/pantry I have 6,137,163 in food/energy.

My daytime camp is set to gain 11,000 in 40 minutes.

My night time camp is set to gain 83,658 in 10 hours.

I'm all set for the next wave of covid 🤣😂😷

I honestly cannot understand why on earth anyone would waste hard earned gems on food....I seriously don't even know why food items for gems even exist.

The other thing I just don't understand is why the gem & jewel camp equipment so low in events?

In my personal opinion the gem & jewel camp equipment in events should be at least as high of the highest possible camp equipment that is currently available in your relevant region (although I'm sure some other players will disagree....lol).

Happy-Haze hehe, my freezer is mostly fruit and veggies right now. It'll be packed with chili in a week or two. I wish I had space for a chest freezer, but this is such a nice apartment aside from the size 🙂

Happy-Haze my view on gem food is that it ought to cost single digit gems. Like, you could do Tutankhamen treasury every day and buy a gem snack. You see, I think people would buy more gems if they saw they could get more with them. Pixel has completely misvalued the approach.

Agree on value of gem equipment.

As for stockpiling food in real life, we have a pantry shelving unit (IKEA) and it was packed at start of winter. Still got lots but we were able to put off grocery shopping when weather was horrid. I like fresh fruit and veg so there is a limit to the amount of hunkering down I am willing to do.
