In Pawkins Research Center where do the ball of yarn, basketball and soccer ball go?

ok what am I doing wrong? lol in the research centre it says to swap the electricity boxes for it to short out, I have switched all the blue for the red and nothing happens. is there something more I have to do or what am I missing? plz help me
