Just an FYI, in Events that have special recipes, it's always a good idea to refrain from ACTIVATING the 2nd recipe for the very reason you listed above as it ALWAYS uses the special collected item. One can always ACTIVATE it even after the said Event is over.

BlameTheParrot Thank you! The 2nd recipe....I'll remember that. I play on two different platforms, and one of them is more difficult to see - that must be when I hit the wrong one. I didn't realize what I'd done until I played on my tablet (the graphics are much clearer) Is there a chance you may provide a free offering of sextants or a paid package? I was on vacation when the pirates started - and as a rule we try to stay 'offline' unless it's an emergency - so I didn't see if anything was offered. Please let me know - and thank you again for the information! 🙂

Unfortunately there's no way Pixel will offer any more Sextants for this Event. If this had been a brand new Event, they would've offered a package deal containing them (only get 3 days to claim.) Normally, they also only gift the said Achievement item on new Events (though once Pixel decided to make a liar outta me & did give away an old item🙄)

PugglePixelPlayer Hi Parrot, Have the powers at Pixel ever released an event for the third time? Just wondering; in case the pirates come back, I can try for the other half of my ship. 😼

PugglePixelPlayer IF the Powers That Be release an Event a 3rd time, more than likely it'll be to the Shop for purchase.

Of course by then, you may find the other half of the ship equipment is too low to bother...
