Starting Pirate event

Hi guys, is there a minimum level you have to be at before playing the pirate event ? I can play the 2 repeatable locations but I'm locked out of the main event.

I am having the same problem. Repeatable done and doesn’t let me go any farther

After the Repeatable, you have to make Coat in Jack his Coconut cocktail from the kitchen- NOT the coconut treats.
Upon retrieving it from the kitchen, Captain Jack takes it & gives you the next quest.

What does segmented mean? Plus where can sextants be located

Segmented means Region-based. Events that are Segmented reflect the tile cost & equipment values of the region you're currently in.

Prior to Spring 2017, all Events were Unsegmented and were the same for everyone. This made it easy for all regions to complete the Event Main Quests but nearly impossible for new Egypt players to complete the Challenges as the tiles cost was too high. Equipment was fantastic for lower regions though since players could get much higher values.

So even though my new Egypt Diggy has little chance of completing the Pirate Challenges, the exp, equipment, & materials will still be worthwhile🙂

The sextants will be strewn around every location amongst the tiles. They'll have a red box around them to make them more noticeable in the mines.

pixel_player19130092 Once a recipe is ACTIVATED it tells you what you're missing if you try to cook the said recipe. The Coconut Cocktail only requires 1 Sugar & 1 Coconut. Did you go to the Repeatable mine for the coconut? If yes, then you can deduce that you're in need of sugar (Caravan)

Would love to make a coconut cocktail if I could just fine the recipe; it seems to be missing from my kitchen. Please help by adding it so I can activate, make, and collect the cocktail. Thank you.

pixel_player33513459 the Coconut Cocktail recipe should be the first listed in your toe of recipes (all the way to the left.) You must activate it to use it.

If it's not there,
PC: try refreshing the game tab.
If in Flash, try WebGL or vice versa.
Flash is only available if started playing before 2/2019

MOBILE: clear the app cache
Try reinstall.
