Pixel is asking for more details from players experiencing the Kindle app issues that have been ongoing since Tuesday's update.
This is what was posted by Pixel:
Right now, the most crucial piece of information we need from the players is the specs of their amazon device (type and OS version). I know that there are many of them, and it can be quite confusing sometimes, so the best thing to do is to send us a screenshot directly from their device, in the Settings menu. This is how it looks:

Depending on your device, you CAN still play via the Silk browser while waiting for a fix.
You can get around the Kindle app issues by playing the browser version of the game & can do so on the Silk browser as the game no longer requires Flash.
A. Close the app & go to https://portal.pixelfederation.com/en/diggysadventure
Sign in using your exact same credentials as you do in the app.
B. Put the page in Desktop mode via the browser settings, upper RT corner of screen.
C. Now click PLAY to get your daily dose(s) of DIGGY🙂
