WebGL Settings: Default Gem Confirmation is OFF

Players need to be aware the WebGL version of the game Settings are initially OFF. Not really a big deal in terms of the sounds or music. However, not having the Gem Confirmation can lead to players inasvertly using gems.

Plus the Settings are randomly turned back OFF. Therefore, it's important that players check them periodically. If playing the game with the computer speakers down off, he/she may not realize their game sounds (or gem confirmation) are no longer working.

Currently, the default setting on the Gem Confirmation for WebGL is at OFF. If you change it to ON it won't necessarily stay that way if when there are updates, or if you reinstall the game. So it is a good idea to check your Settings after any of those occur. It has been officially requested Pixel change the default of the Gem Confirmation to ON.

Alex_Clover Sometimes players aren't aware there even was an update that occurred. Pixel could be fixing an error / glitch & there's not necessarily any indication an update even occurred. I've said this before (but I'm a parrot) it's ridiculous the default is OFF. In mobile, that is not the case.

The biggest thing is that it's more random and only affects certain people on different platforms at their particular time.
On the PC with flash the default is ON for gem confirmation.

gamemaster Not always. I take it you still aren't doing the FB Friend thing. So, I've had to do the fix most times where you remove the DA app, then reinstall it to get some Friends to show in my game. It should always remember my Settings since it has all the data still on its severs, but alot of the time it rests the Settings for everything to OFF.

It is getting annoying that every so often I come in and all the settings have flipped to "off" thankfully I notice due to lack of sound.

Same here more than once, but a week ago it set to off by itself and sound was still on so it's still an issue.
This time it also put the special effects to off and somehow left the sound on.

playing on 11/07 ran out of energy whilst digging, the food pop up came up, and was right where i was digging. ended up accidentally spending 180 gems on food. because the gem confirmation was off, even though i knew i had set it to on back in the flash days. so i had no way of knowing it was off. i am not happy at all, i would never waste gems on a measly 18k of food, especially as i have a 1.5million reserve of food!. i have set it to on now, but couldn't do that playing via facebook, it won't let you change it unless you log in via the portal. i literally feel robbed, and it explains previous sudden disappearances of gems too

It does let you change the settings playing via facebook as it is the same interface.
Just getting into the game now and my sound settings was changed to OFF by itself.

gamemaster no it doesn't its 'jammed' on 'off' on everything. you have to play in pixel portal to change any of the settings. 4 years i have played this game, and now it is stealing gems. i am literally fuming. i 'pay to play' so its not like its just taking back what it gave freely. it is taking gems i payed hard cash for.

Grrr, what the heck is happening? I have never accidentally clicked and gotten energy in the entire time I have been playing, then tonight, twice in 10 minutes. The pop up appears where I am digging so I've already clicked it before I've even seen it.

What's up with that, Diggy? 340 hard earned gems down the drain! I figured there must be something up the second time, so come here and voila, here's my explaination. I had no idea there was somewhere where you could switch this, but I certainly haven't switched it off myself! 🙁

Checked - gem conformation is off, and stuck there, I can't turn it back on.

Look half way down for support option.

Did that a couple of days ago @gamemaster, still waiting for a response. I believe it can take a while lol, cross fingers I don't botch that pop up again in the meantime!
