Hello Diggers!
The new Diggy version for the desktop PCs brings an overhaul of the Map Manager.
Our main goal is to provide more immersive and dynamic gameplay experience when browsing through the available locations and selecting your next adventure!
Looking forward to check the new Maps? Let’s get to it 😊
GENERAL OVERVIEW:
From now on, you can find the Map Manager in the bottom left corner of the screen here: https://prnt.sc/ml3ovw
After you click on the button, the following screen appears: https://prnt.sc/ml3pkh
All of the location tabs, god story lines, cities and various side quests are now displayed in a more compact and transparent way. You can browse through the region by clicking on the active buttons in the vertical bar here: https://prnt.sc/ml3re7
The last tab called „Stories“ provides you with an overview of special events you have started in your game: https://prnt.sc/ml3s2k
CITIES AND REPEATABLES:
Each region has its own city and repeatable locations, and visiting them is now easier than ever before 😊
You can now find the main city and the repeatable tab in every regional tab, just under the main story line (gods, dragons, you name it...):
DIGGING THROUGH THE STORY LINE AND GETTING BACK TO CAMP:
Every story tab in the region now shows you how many locations are there to complete. For example, you can find 15 locations in total under the main Anubis story line: http://prntscr.com/ml4986
This way, you can easily check whether there are still more locations to come or whether you have removed the tiles in all of them. Another example – the Dragon of Wood story is done, but there are still more locations to come in the Dragon of Earth quest chain: http://prntscr.com/ml49pu
If you are missing few locations to complete your Hero of Egypt/Scandinavia/China/Atlantis/Greece achievements (which requires you to clear every single location in a region), this location count can be of a great help 😊
When you enter the Map Manager, you can also return to your main camp when you are done with the digging. The Map button turns into the „Camp“ button, and clicking on it will get you back to the safe haven of your camp: http://prntscr.com/ml4c4y
Of course, if you want to immediately hop back into action, the „Last Location“ button is right next to the Map/Camp button: http://prntscr.com/ml4by4
All right, it seems that you now know everything you need, in order to delve into new locations and we hope that you will enjoy the new Maps interface – good luck! 😊
