How about new events released after Feb 19? Will they be WebGL-version only too, just as the new region?

pixel_player97456278 It will all depend on the content of the event, but they will be probably only be available on the WebGL version of the game.

pixel_player97456278 Not to my understanding. The new Region was designed for WebGL only. If any new Events do get designed to be played only with WebGL, then all players would have access at that time to WebGL to play them on. WebGL will eventually be the only version DA will be played on, so it should be anticipated new Events will more and more be only designed to be played on it.

Also, it is the intention for WebGL to have all the same things in the game no matter what device it is being played on, so neither mobile users or PC users will feel they are lacking something the other has.

Abhi A friend mechanic is being worked on. As stated in the OP, tutorials are being made and will be available in stages on the Fanpage beginning next week. They should explain the basics then.

No. It will be available to all players on February 19th, barring any unforeseen circumstances. If you wish to play on WebGL before then, then you can make a new Diggy account (PC only) on or after January 22nd. The new account will only have WebGL to play on. Your Diggy on it will be starting at the beginning, but you will be able to familiarise yourself with the WebGL version of the game playing that way.

I think the WebGL compatability would be more reliant on the browser you use than the age/brand of computer you're using.

I was thinking about playing through Magisterium pretty soon, hard to know from this whether I shouldn't bother or whether this is the last chance to get those outfits which could keep being useful.

tcpolymath It will replace it, but I'm not privy to exactly how. This is one thing they are being a little secretive about for now. Anything I state at this point would be opinion, but the testers of the game did bring up the matter of not ignoring what players had invested in obtaining the outfits. So I would imagine that investment will be worked into it somehow.

Wiki pages now contain a warning about doing past events purely for the outfits, for example Magesterium:
IMPORTANT: Starting February 19th 2019 the whole outfit system will be removed from the game. Playing this event for it's outfit is no longer advised!

Like Yodalicious when he linked the 50 gems we could get, it never turned up here on the portal gifts.
We would NEVER have got them if not for him this time.

gamemaster In this case I think Trust and this forum was the first place where information about WebGL was posted (at least for me it was the first official post about it). It is kinda funny because Facebook group admins are not very happy they were not the first to be informed. As for the extra gifts..... Some come from the FB fanpage and others come from PF Twitter. Blame is on FB and maybe twitter and could be the one posting them here. And as I proposed earlier....I personally think it is a good idea when one of you joins the FB Admin group. Talk it over with @RichardPixel . He can add one of you to the group. In the end probably the most important is that we all have access to the best information possible and together we can get that done. Posting the tutorials probably will not be a problem as expect them to be on youtube.
