Get th e advert to double awards by watching video, but nothing happens whe n I clear an area.Have now cleared 4 no extra bonus.Why?

Ads are not given on every single quest/clearing, they are subject to availability and perhaps some other factors.

Is this not for all players? I am seeing the pop up that we should get the chance however when I clear a location it is the same as it has always been. Claim or refresh only.

I only saw the option once. It asked me to install some game app. I didn’t and I haven’t seen the option since. I’m not sure if I got double rewards for that.

I’ve completed all but the second challenge so it seems a bit of a damp squib. Unless maybe it’s a bug?

Got a reply from support...currently the video option is only for Android and iOS platforms. So...I tried it on my Android phone and had one success then it crashed every time after trying to watch the video.

It seems to be enabled randomly when you launch the mobile app. If you want to get it every time, keep relaunching/killing app until you see the double rewards notice, then hand in your quest or complete a location. Then you can use the video option to get double rewards.

Update on my earlier gripe:
I play mainly on my laptop to maximise the bonuses from the Magisterium clothing so I was disappointed not to be able to use this new feature.
I just swapped to my phone and dug the last tile on the Titan Arena and got double the standard 400,000 XP reward just for watching a short advert. I'll be doing the same for all big reward completions in future! It's a great extra benefit.

BTW - I did not see the double rewards notice when I logged in on my phone, however I checked it out on a cheap repeatable mine and the double XP option came up anyway.

First time gripe. I wouldn't mind not getting the double bonus every time. What bugs me is that if there is no advert i have to watch the 'hourglass of death' turning around and around for 60 seconds.

Well... At least you're getting an option to watch the ads to begin with. My Kindle game hasn't had the ads for over a week now. Have you tried hitting the "back" arrow on your device to get out of the "ad? "

Just finished four repeatables and hse to double my rewards on all four. Watch four adds but only got the extra rewards on one . What the heck. Why should they get paid four my time?

pixel_player745735358 This happened to me once - not getting double despite watching ad. I contacted support but they refuse to acknowledge or compensate saying ads are managed by third parties and it's an experimental feature.
You should contact them too, they don't listen till they get too many reports.

I have been having this problem since the first day of the double rewards, I will watch the video and than the game will shutdown and I do not receive the credit. Happens at least once a day.

Create a SUPPORT TiCKET. Settings Cog, upper Left corner of app. Choose a category to fill out the form.

I was instructed to restart the game and lost the original reward and did not receive the double after looking through "magazines", this has happened with large rewards.
