I seem to have found a perfectly valid solution (according to rules)... which isn't accepted.
I can see the other solution, but that's not my point. Would it be possible for the game to accept both solutions ? Or make sure that that one is not feasible ?

Yep, I figured it out. I was pretty certain at the time that the allied formations weren't supposed to count.
