This was my first ever experience playing a special event. I absolutely love the game and think Halloween 2018 and 2017 were terrific. The only issue I had with it sometimes is when you have a “2000 tile” or multiple “300 and 140 tiles”. To me, that is just too high of a cost. Thankfully I had 30 days to complete everything but it literally took me all that time to complete everything. I think I played 4-5 times a day, but I’m disabled and I’m at home so I can devote that time to a game. I feel that others would be forced to make multiple purchases to complete the challenges.
I would love to go back and enjoy all the other previous year challenges and events. But being disabled, I simply can’t afford to pay $20.00 to play one event. Most every event is 500 gems. I wish Pixel Federation would open those up to players who have just come to know Diggy’s Adventures.
This being my first event, I didn’t really utilize the hands and movie reels to the best I think I could, And I don’t understand that some of the camp equipment is still available for hands and movie reels, but there is no way to accumulate more. I just learned that too with the Santa Postcards. It seems like I just got started collecting them and now they are gone. I was trying to work towards getting 100 for some special camp equipment but I only managed to get 67 and I was logging in daily 4-5 times waiting for those areas to refresh. So, there just wasn’t enough time.
I hope Pixel Federation will consider all the feedback they receive. I am all for the employees receiving good compensation, and being successful. That said, I have to believe that some of the tile costs could be lowered as mentioned above, and maybe more time to gather specialty items, and opening up past events for people who haven’t played them to play. I assume other players who knew of this game years ago did not have to pay 500 gems for those events. So my only fault is not knowing the game existed back then. I don’t mind giving something to help keep Diggy’s Adventures going, but some things seem a little pricey.
Love the game!
