So I get to the part where you open the gates to the guest room with a math problem and guess what, the math is completely wrong and will not work! I've tried every combo and none of them work! And this isn't the first one like this! I'm starting to believe this is purposeful! Any suggestions?

Had no issues with the equations:
RED STONE: 10/5=2; 2-3= -1; 7+ -1=6
PURPLE STONE: 4+9=13; 13-8=5; 5-3=2
BLUE STONE: 1 X 4 = 4; 4-3=1
GREEN STONE: 2+10=12; 12-9=3

If your answers weren't the answers used by the game, then I would suggest a refresher course in maths might be due on your part. Especially since you state "this isn't the first one like this". Given the mass majority of players worked out the answers as being the ones required by the game, then it is hardly likely their maths were done incorrectly.

To add to both the above posts, if you HAD done every combo then one of them would of worked.
