Youre given a week to CLAIM the Event (before the next update.) In mibile, the time to claim it counts down the 7 days, PC version shows time countdown when you have 3 days left.
Just like all Events, you get a certain time to complete it. For James Blond, it's 28 days & the time starts when you've claimed it.
