Red ring and material map

Several red ring locations are not unlocking. How many times do I need to clear the few that are open before the others unlock?
I also have an Egyptian materials map still locked and I am now in Scandinavia.

It explains that new locations open based on your region. If you're in a different region next time the Event comes aroind, you'll have access to more location mines.

You have which same Repeatable? A locked one in Egypt?

If yes, that's most likely the Cache mine & you need to return to the Vault of the Guardians to speak with the dude by the entrance as he's the one who opens the Cache.

So i have only finished eygt I have not got into any other regions. So fare you telling me that I can’t go further in the red ring other than 4 repeatable?

sskdvm yep. not until next time, in about 6 months.
I'm not sure if it's worth doing anything after the ruby mine anyways... they start getting really expensive, and still just one ring, and if you want topaz or sapphire it's way cheaper to do the normal repeatables. :/ (edit: turns out diamonds are at a discount)

red ring university is 37k for a ring and some XP... is that really worth doing?
