Diggy's 6th Birthday - Keys

Have collected all keys, however, the last gate in rewards won't open. Checked all screenshots and videos on Forum, and consulted Wiki and the Fan Page for Hidden Key locations. Going by all these, it appears that I have all the keys. Yet the last gate will not open. Help.

pixel_player98993701 There's no way to know WHICH key you're missing. If you've gone thru this list, make certain the balls are actually on the mouse tracks in Professors Cabin, etc.

pixel_player98993701 Like you, I have the same problem. I completed all locations but last gate won’t pop up. I don’t remember seeing the last key however. I think the trigger to handling the potato sacks maybe the cake being burnt out. We needed to have both the newspaper and matches to start the fireplace. However, after starting the fireplace, both the matches and the newspaper are still in my inventory. Do you still see them as well? I am thinking they should have been consumed already. I did not see the key popped up in the Back in the professor’s cabin even in the first walk through so I’m thinking the cake being burnt up was the trigger along with clicking the last clue in the birthday island before handling the potato sacks. If that was the case, matches and newspaper should no longer appear in our inventory.

I found one key under the scarf in the professors workshop pull stone backwards to be able to pull it onto the scarf

I am missing one key. I have gone through the YouTube showing the 8 key spots and have done all of them. Went through each spot three times to double check and no 8th key popping out. I am thinking maybe Back in Professors Cabin is the missing one but not positive. Back in Professors Cabin and City of Digg'ten are the only two I do not remember seeing pop up.

I have watched you tube video on back to professors cabin re location of the shoes and the fridge. the video shows them being in rooms off the room with the fireplace where you put the cursed cake. I found the secret rooms but no fridge or shoes.
anyone else had this problem
I place on pc if this makes a difference. x

Please don't take offense as I'm asking this because others have made this mistake: are you in the correct Professor's Cabin? You need to be in the 2nd one. The refrigerator shows up in a spot that was blank in the very first location.

pixel_player25452377 Matches & newspaper remain in inventory, simply didn't get removed with a code when event developed. Has NO bearing on getting your keys. Unfortunately, no way to tell the key your missing. Spoiler list posted near top of this page. Might need to go thru to verify your puzzle solutions especially in first location.

I also have have the matches and newspaper plus the moon flower ... how do I use them to get them out of inventory??? Or did I miss something
