I think that if you used LTF on a level the first time you played through the event, then if you ever repeat the event you still have LTF active on it, which is marked by the magnifying glass. So if you get to the end of that mine and still have a few tiles missing, you can use it without using up your āonce in 23 hoursā allotment.
