Can someone please explain to me the benefit of buying Camp equipment I don't understand should I be buying the blue bar ones that say capacity or should I buy the green bar ones that say energy what's the difference in placing or selling how do I use that? What is the better equipment to buy?

GREEN REGEN EQQUIPMENT:
This equipment helps increase the amount of energy you can regenerate per hour. The more GREEN equipment you have, the faster you're energy will accumulate.

BLUE CAPACITY EQUIPMENT:
This equipment serves to EXPAND your ability to store your GREEN REGEN EQUIPMENT. Kinda like expanding your closet. Initially, you're given 200 in capacity. That's not going to hold much GREEN
REGEN (clothes) so you must buy more BLUE equipment to accommodate the growing amount of energy you need.

So really, both types of equipment are important.
Later in the game, you may consider getting the Professor Switch System. It let's you build a camp of mostly GREEN equipment so your energy regenerates faster as you play AND another variation to fill mostly with BLUE equipment so you accumulate more energy over a longer period of time (like while you're sleeping.) Cool thing is you don't have to buy different equipment for each camp setup😊

PLACE: use that button to place an item from your inventory into your underground camp.

SELL: Is to do just that. You can sell an item back to the game, usually for much less than what you paid. You're able to see the amount offered before the sale so you can cancel if you choose. Its a nice option since much if the early acquired equipment becomes obsolete as better equipment comes along. Don't be in too much of a hurry to sell though as you can use those items as "fillers" in your camp, especially if you get the Professor Switch System.

I still don’t get it - surely if you left it overnight - it would fill up anyway. It doesn’t give you extra?

I'm still trying to figure out how to move camp equipment from day to night mode. Even if I am on day mode and try to purchase camp equipment it still goes to night mode ....help please

You don't move them day to night.

There are two underground camp configurations. You use the Day/Night toggle button to select the underground configuration that you want to work on. Let's say Night. Then you move camp equipment back and forth between Inventory and the Underground Camp.

Same for Day. You use the Day/Night toggle button to select the underground configuration that you want to work on. Then you move camp equipment back and forth between Inventory and the Underground Camp.

A piece of camp equipment can be either Camp configuration, or neither, or both.

Before you purchase Camp Equipment, make sure you have used the Day/Night toggle and selected the camp configuration that you want to put the new piece of equipment in.
