We can manually force a 2-hour reset of the Red Ring Chests without having to open all of them by clearing the Barrier?

Hello ! Yes, this is the basic mechanic behind the repeatable locations. The barier restarts the location. It is needed to open a specific amount of gates, before the barrier is accessible though.

Hi there!
I assume you are referring to the Red Hall of Rewards. It is a repeatable mine with only one tile, that can be dug after reaching the 3rd stage of this location. New stages are unlocked by opening a chest in the previous stage, not by opening a gate. 😉 If you clear the only tile from this location, the location will start to refresh. Make sure to get all materials you want before clearing the only tile in this location.

You only need 3 rings to reach the tile IF you only open one gate in each level. You do NOT need to open every gate in each level to get to the next or to reach the tile to reset this mine. Hope this helps the confused. 😎

I'm stuck on red ring, cannot get past first room. I opened one chest in red room then went to open a chest in blue and it wouldn't open but somehow another red opened. I started playing yesterday and no reset

pixel_player59424040 do you have Red Rings in your backpack? Once you use them up you have to get more in order to open another chest.

What order did you take these steps? That sounds very odd--that you opened a red level chest, could not open blue-level, but could open another red-level. If that is true, then when everything resets, try again: one red level chest, then try a blue-level. If it does not open, stop and take photos of the situation and send in a claim, explaining in detail the steps. Don't just use up your rings. First make photos that depict the problem. You might even hold off using the Red Rings. There is enough time to use up stockpiled red rings given the 2-hour window for reset. I have never had that problem.

If there are Rings in your inventory but the game thinks you have none, take a screenshot of your inventory, then try to take a screenshot of your attempt to use it to submit to Support to back your claim of a problem.

Usually the inability to open a chest is due to lack of Red Rings. One gets carried away opening 2 or 3 chests on the first level, and forgets that they are used up.
