SCalyen I honestly don't see how the other response is anything except straightforward advice meant to help you in any future excursions you might have in seeking answers to problems you might face in the game. Gamemaster had supplied the answer you had sought to your question, so there was no need to include it or any version of it in any reply to you by anyone else as doing so would have been redundant. However, the answer gamemaster gave you didn't also include the useful advice BlameTheParrot stated. That it was it written in a blunt, matter-of-fact fashion doesn't make it rude or sarcastic, it simply means it contained information you may have found useful and nothing more. Anything that holds up gameplay for any of the players is not something anyone wants. Players should try to do a search of the forum, then, before posting a question, for their own benefit if nothing else, since if the answer they are looking for is already on the forum then that player can get back to playing the game sooner rather than waiting around for a reply. Telling a player they should look for the answer first isn't being mean, it is simply informing them of something that might help.
