When you find yourself without new quests - Diggy needs to take a journey to see the Gods.
Here is a step-by-step guide if Diggy happened to forget how to get there.
Enter the map :

Select the region - Scandinavia :
Make sure to swipe to the left
until you almost reach the very end and find the location Valhalla
Valhalla is the mythological home of the Gods, and as you´ve already experienced - the Gods are very needy and have always some tasks for Diggy.
Please make sure to frequently check the location. New quests can also be found in the town or your camp, but make sure to clear all quest in your quest log first 🙂
