QUEST: Dead Man Talking

The Dead Man Talking is a long term quest. You will finish it when you lift Ptah's curse. To do this, you have to complete all the quests that you will receive from Ptah and his Priest (he is an Egyptian God). Keep working on the main quest line and you will get there soon. 🙂

pixel_player47408329 After completing your last location, did you return to camp or town? Or Ptah? If Dead Man Talking is still in your quest tab, then you haven't finished it yet.

This level is stuck, locked, or broken. I have tried to complete Dead man talking for several months and I'm stranded. I can't lift Ptah's curse or talk to Rusty. Any ideas?

Dead Man Talking covers several locations & stating you have the same problrm, really isn't telling anyone anything. We have no clue which location you have completed or which one is next for you. If you follow the link that @gamemaster provided & scroll down to your location, the next row tells you who to speak with next.

This one is stuck. Ive finished all the open tasks and done with the solomon's mine but there's no working active tasks anymore. No one to talk to and checked all the maps but still stuck

What's the last main map location you completed? Did you check your Quest tab? After completing EVERY quest, the tab tells you where to go/ who to talk to next. Did you return to the god, even previous?
Did you miss a speaking character in a recent mine?

Follow the chart down to your most recent location(s.) The next row tells you who to speak with to get a new quest. It's important to look at ALL the maps since not all quests open one after another.

BlameTheParrot the only quest tab i have is 1 which has lift ptah's curse, find a missing journal(ok), and decipher the journal thru Rusty. The priest of Ptah is not in the city and i did not miss any person with impt task

I lifted all the curses from the egyptian gods and cleared out all the father mines... I just can't find the damn piece of diary. My last mine in the father questline is Salamons mines. When I look at the wiki it seems there might be a piece in the next mine 'crypt of menes' Anyone an idea how to access this one?

I too am having trouble completing this task. When I go to the town, I don't see Ptah's assistant to talk to. I have the piece of journal but don't know how to lift the curse. Shouldn't there be an unfinished location for Egypt under the Map Manager that I have to go to and clear in order to lift the curse? I'm just not sure where I'm suppose to go to lift the curse. 😃

No, there is no specific story mine that corresponds to this quest.

This is a long-term quest that will complete when you finish the entire Ptah quest line AND finish a deciphering activity that comes up afterwards.

Just continue completing the quests from the Priest of Ptah and other characters in Luxor, and later from Ptah himself in the Temple of Ptah.
