I have found the clue in the lower right corner and set the levers to either point at the shells or away from the shells depicted in the clue, but still the gate to the info is closed.
OK, got it. If you mess it up, you must first set all the levers to point at the gold coins side. Then, set the appropriate levers to point at the seashell side.
